About Business Projects

Business projects refer to organizational change projects which are non-standard, cross-functional in-house initiatives that aim at effecting internal changes. Below are the two major categories of business projects:

  • Organization-wide transformation endeavor to improve profitability, reduce cost, uplift quality of customer services, upgrade organization learning capability and infrastructure, improve work processes in order to increase work productivity and operational efficiency. For example, a business turnaround programme or business transformation programme.

  • Information Technology (IT) initiative to integrate business data and processes across the organization for better visibility on overall business performance which in turn, enables timely decision making. For example, implementation of a new ERP system or a replacement of a legacy transaction processing system.

Business Project Doctor

We are proud to be known as the Business Project "Doctor" who D.A.R.E.S, which stands for:

  • Deliver - Run and manage complex, large-scale, high-risk business transformation programmes /projects

  • Recover - Response to emergency, diagnose issues with programmes/projects in distress, identify root causes, prescribe and provide treatment to bring them back on track;

  • Assess - Perform health check for existing project management practice and existing programmes /projects, recommend and implement measures to fill identified gaps

  • Educate - Impart project management knowledge to keep businesses abreast with new perspectives so that the full potential of project management in effecting organizational changes can be exploited;

  • Strengthen - Boost the role of project management by establishing a permanent project department that initiates and implements on-going organizational changes.

About the Founder
Dr. Wong Siaw Ming

  • Master of Business Administration - University of Leicester, UK

  • BSc (Computer & Information Sciences) - National University of Singapore

Dr Wong is the Founder and Managing Director of the firm, and she has over 35 years of project management, systems integration and operations experience.

Prior to setting up the firm, she had served 3 out of the world’s big five consulting firms and end-user companies in multiple industries which include healthcare, pharmaceuticals, banking, hi-tech manufacturing, airlines, leisure and statutory board.

Companies benefited from her work include Ministry of Health Singapore, Phillips Medical Systems, Kendall Medical, Glaxo Wellcome (now GSK), Hong Kong Adventist Hospital, Mesiniaga, Arab Malaysian Finance, Resorts World Berhad, Hewlett Packard, Agilent Technologies, Malaysia Airlines, AstraZeneca etc.

A very focused and hands-on management with international work exposure; her current specialization is delivery of large & complex operations consolidation and business transformation programmmes/projects.
